Developing Band 5 or Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist: £37K+ (pro rata). Based in North London schools.
At ACCESS, we build your role around your career interests, aspirations and life commitments. As well as choosing the days you work, you’ll benefit from a personalised career development path, that includes one-to-one supervision, regular reviews, high quality training, and opportunities for progression within your role. You’ll get as much support and autonomy in your day-to-day work as you need. And you can adapt your working pattern as you develop too.
There’s no such thing as typical at ACCESS, but one of our therapists works four days a week in an innovative Alternative Provision setting, plus one day a week set aside for administration, CPD, planning, etc. Another works one day a week in a mainstream primary and another day in a mainstream secondary. Talk to us about your preferences and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
To be successful as an ACCESS Therapist, you must have experience of working in a school. You should also be unflappable, highly adaptable, and a great communicator. Ideally, you’ll also have a driving licence and access to a car, but that’s not essential.
At ACCESS Speech and Language Therapy, we specialise in connecting language with literacy and social skills, working with mainstream schools to help children achieve better outcomes, across the curriculum and in their future lives. It’s a proven approach, with measurable results, that we deliver in a flexible way to suit a school’s particular requirements.
